Sandy Lake - Northern Ontario

Liz and Apa7 flew from Saskatoon to Winnipeg. We are on our way to Sandy Lake.

We look out of the window and see the houses below us.

We had to use a small plane to take us to Sandy Lake. This is a fly in community in winter.
The plane was late so we had to wait.

Apa7 loved the school - it has amazing First Nations Art in the halls. Apa7 was given a book about the First Nations People of this area - Bart Meekis and Robert Kakegamic made this book.
